6-day itinerary for Cherrapunji & Mawlynnong
Day 1: Guwahati to Shillong
- Drive from Guwahati into the hills
- Evening at Ward's Lake and Police Bazaar
Day 2: Shillong to Cherrapunji
- Nohkalikai Falls, one of India's tallest waterfalls
- Mawsmai limestone caves
Day 3: Double Decker Root Bridge trek
- Trek down to Nongriat village
- Cross the famous double-decker living root bridge
- Swim in the natural rock pools nearby
Day 4: Mawlynnong & Dawki
- Walk through Mawlynnong, Asia's cleanest village
- Boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River at Dawki
Day 5: Back to Shillong
- Elephant Falls
- Local Khasi food and market walk in Shillong
